There’re too many cameras on the market, but only a few are built for industrial use. The TF-HCF-CAM makes a grand statement with its capability and durability features, giving its competitors a run for their money. Here’re four key features that help the TF-HCF-CAM take the lead when it comes to HD-SDI aviation cameras.
Rugged Aluminum Housing
The TF-HCF-CAM aviation camera boasts a solid military grade 7075-T6 aluminum alloy housing. 7075 aluminum alloy is known for its high strength compared to other aluminum alloys and can even go head to head with many types of steel. The housing is anodized in MIL-A-8625 Type II, which provides corrosion protection and abrasion resistance. The IP67 rated housing makes the camera waterproof and ideal for marine applications. The HD aviation camera can operate in temperatures from -30° to +85° Celsius, allowing it to work in harsh conditions.
Compact Form Factor
The TF-HCF-CAM comes in a compact body measuring at just 80mm x 30mm x 30mm. With the use of a robust mounting bracket or installation rig, the HD-SDI camera can be installed in smaller areas where other larger cameras cannot fit otherwise. This allows pilots to have a recording system in place for surveillance and broadcast use when flying their aircraft.
High-End Recording Capabilities
The TF-HCF-CAM is equipped with a Panasonic imaging sensor that can deliver dual simultaneous outputs of 3G-SDI and analog live feed to a monitor like the Garmin 500. The 2MP sensor can record resolution in full high definition resolutions of 1920x1080. Features like motion sensing, image sharpness, image defogging and exposure modes make the TF-HCF-CAM aviation camera stand out from the rest.
Multiple Lens Options
The TF-HCF-CAM features multiple lens options to change the field of view according to your visual preference. The lens options are 2.9 mm, 3.4mm, 8.0mm and 16.0mm which provides 175° ultra-wide FOV, 105° standard FOV, 48° FOV and 48° zoomed-in FOV. Pilots can attach their desired lens to the HD-SDI aviation cameras and capture jaw-dropping footage of the landscape.
